An Emporium

An emporium of views
in a really large window
shows everybody's life
and each innuendo.
Our unjust solace scenes
of which we toss aside,
just because they may have been
not earned, but a free ride.
This emporium of views
is an department store of life
that shows us how the easy stuff
was cause for so much strife.
I believe that it would help us
if we would turn around
and see where all the hard earned things
can bring us solid ground.
Helping us to have more respect
for things we throw away
and even help us somehow find
a better brighter day.
